Canine Home Boarding

In The Dog House exists to provide ‘another choice’ for the dog owner when they need help to care for their canine friend! Annual holiday, weekend break, hospital appointment, days out etc., contact us to discuss how we can meet your needs.

We provide a complete service, 'door to door' collection and return of your dog included.

‘Canine Carers’ are carefully selected to provide a loving environment for our canine guests. All carers have experience of looking after dogs, are genuine dog lovers, have a secure garden and agree to follow the daily routine for every dog that they care for.

1st STAGE: Dog Owner - Home Visit

All dogs, with their owners, are visited in their own home before any booking is taken. This enables us to meet the prospective canine ‘guest’ and discuss individual requirements with the owner. We are then able to match the dog(s) with the most suitable ‘canine carer’. (there is no obligation to make a booking during a home visit)

2nd STAGE: Bookings

Provisional bookings taken at any time, confirmation of booking is given after receipt of deposit.

3rd STAGE: Dog collection/delivery

Dogs are collected from the owners home together with all food, bedding, toys etc sufficient for the length of stay, and taken directly to the selected ‘canine carer’. The dog is returned to the owners home at the end of the booking.
